Hi, my name is Helen and I am dedicated to helping you build a deeper connection with yourself, whether its exploring and growing your self worth or rebuilding a relationship.

Relationships are rarely easy and can change over time, so many factors can influence our relationships with other as well as our relationship with ourselves. Age, children, loss, medical issues, social expectations and family input are just a few of the things that can impact relationships, so no wonder sometimes we might feel a bit lost. This is where I can work with you in improving communication, rediscovering joy and untangling emotional knots. Lets work at getting your relationship with yourself and your partner back on track.

Life can become overwhelming at times due to a number of factors; life stages (becoming a parent, retirement, loss), significant changes to our lifestyle (relationships, health, jobs). Our upbringing will have an impact on how we process things and how we react in situations. Life is never easy and we don't know what challenges lie ahead of us. But, with the right tools and acceptance of what has made us who we are, we can face it and get through it.

We all need time to decompress, focus on ourselves, and slow down and reflect on what is happening. But life is busy, so we need to give ourselves the time and space to do this. Counselling can provide you with that space in a non-judgemental environment. 

I will provide you with a space to explore and process your thoughts and feelings. To help support you become the person you want to be, together we will find a way that works best for you. It won’t be a quick fix, but a journey of understanding, acceptance and growth.

Some issues I have supported people with are; relationships, parenting concerns, self-confidence issues, anxiety, trauma survivors (historical child abuse, domestic abuse), attachment issues, emotional eating.
